Ho Yi Amy Cheng BA Fashion Jewellery Year 3 Student"Elements" Collection Architecture can reflect on people's personalities, thinking and their culture, in this collection, I have explored how Chinese traditional architecture expresses the character, spirit and national ideals of Chinese people. These will be transform into my "Elements" collection, letting others to get to know more about Chinese and make the Chinese citizens to realize who they really are. All my designs are simple and clean, just as China's architecture loves the beauty of group combination and often uses central-axis or a symmetric compact design. No matter which composition method is chosen, Chinese traditional architect is well known for the style of being neutral, easy going, conservative and elegant. Other than that, me in particularly chosen 5 elements (metal, earth, fire, water & wood) and Chinese lattice works to be the main elements in my collection.
