www.nicolabrindle.co.uk nicbrindle@hotmail.co.uk http://my.lcffirstmove.co.uk/graduates/6813 My final collection embodies my tactile and fun design ethos. I enjoy experimenting with colours and new techniques to recreate traditional patterns and textures. My designs often involve the unexpected such as Big-Ben embellishments and life-like flowers. The theme of my final collection was based on a Las Vegas wedding, so I combined research from both tacky and traditional aspects. I enjoy creating a story within my work, and adding extra dimensions to the garments through symbolism. I hope to continue developing as a designer with the same aesthetics – continuing to experiment and refine my style further.
