GRADUATE COLLECTION 2013 - POSTMODERN EXCESSES OF CONSUMPTION MY graduate collection provides a humorous interpretation of various postmodern theories of consumption. Starting with theories dating from 1950, the concept has been developed into a study of 2 particular forms of excess. OVER-EATING OVER-EXCERCISING THESE ideas, along with an underlying theme of late 80âs/early 90s media, have been fused together to create a hybrid of pieces that reflect the desire to constantly over-consume.
