BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Surface Textiles
Deformity free is an Autumn/ Winter 2013 women knitwear high- end collection inspired by minority groups of people who has disability or illness that affects their appearances, in order make contrast and question nowadaysâ âstandard of beautyâ created by the worldâs society. In depth research further assisted the design development to explore the possibilities between a normal body carrying an abnormal feature garment- that represents the minority body shape, wearers are able to distort their garment optionally through the way they wish to wear it, result creates unexpected unique silhouettes after worn on body.
